Seismological station Český Krumlov (CKRC) was established in 2013 in southern Bohemia after a strongly felt local earthquake. Station CKRC is situated in a graphite mine 700 meters from the portal. Visitors of the mine can check seismic activity on a monitor in the gallery. The station is equipped with a broadband seismometer and connected to internet. Digital data are transferred in real time to the Instiute of Geophysics. Station CKRC is part of the Czech Regional eismic Network.
