RNDr. Hana Hanzlíková, Ph.D. specializes in research on the influence of solar and geomagnetic activity on atmospheric circulation, variability in the ionosphere-atmosphere system, biometeorology and environmental epidemiology. She completed her PhD studies at the Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague.
Currently, she is focusing on analyzing the influence of solar and geomagnetic activity on the frequency of synoptic types over Central Europe and on research on the relationships between weather, influenza epidemics, and seasonal mortality, which she conducts in collaboration with the Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the CAS and the State Institute of Health in Prague.
