Seismological station Třešť (TREC) was established in 2005 in the cellar of Castle Třešť which belonges to the Czech Academy of Sciences. Station TREC is equipped with a broadband sensor. Digital data are transferred in real time to the Institute of Geophysics. Station TREC is part of the Czech Regional Seismic Network.

Due to the reconstruction of the Castle the station was temporarily moved to a site with increased noise.
