Seismological station Průhonice (PRU) was founded in 1957. It is situated in a quite part of the park in a shallow artificial celery. Seismometers are installed on massive concrete vaults. Station is eqipped with three-channel short period sensors and a broadband seismometer. Digital data are transferred in real time to the Institute. Station PRU is part of the Czech Regional Seismic Network.
