We cordially invite you to a lecture given by our colleague dr. Catherine Annen, devoted to her current research on magma chambers, from magma generation to eruption, and some long-standing problems in this field. Catherine is an expert in numerical modelling of magmatic processes. Her research interests include granite generation, dynamics of magma bodies, and conditions for the growth of shallow magma chambers. Her earlier affilitions include, for instance, University of Bristol (UK) and Université Savoie Mont Blanc (France).
