The Institute of Geophysics operates two visitor centers, where you can learn interesting facts about earthquakes, volcanoes, the structure of the Earth’s interior and the processes that take place there. Visitors can see the instruments we use to monitor the heart of the Earth and learn the principles on which the measurements are based. In Kašperské Hory, it is possible to go below ground via old mining works. Expositions include an interactive part, so they are also suitable for children or school groups.
